Tiki Badminton Village

Started in 1975 Tiki badminton village has grown to be one of the biggest and most succesfull clubs in the area. Here at Tiki Badminton Village we aim to cater for players of all standards, from beginner right through to county player, so whatever your ability there is something for you at the badminton village.

Affiliated to the Badminton Association of England, Staffordshire and Worcester County Associations we have several teams entered in the South Staffordhire and Worcester League. The club has seen great success, particularly in the Worcester premier league where the Men's 1st team have won the title 9 times in the last 10 seasons!

Junior Coaching
Coaching sessions are run exclusively for junior players of all abilities, this is an excellent opportunity for younger players to improve their game and develop their badminton skills. The coaching is spilt into two sessions according to ability and is provided by Graham Jebb, a BAof E qualified coach.

Tiki Badminton Village works closely with St. Peters Collegiate Shool to encourage participation, this constant developement has proved very successfull, the school team, also coached by Graham Jebb, is now one of the most successfull school teams in the region winning numerous titles ever year.

'Youth Policy' - as you may have gathered Tiki Badminton Village very much encourages young players of all ages and abilities, afterall they are the badminton players of the future. Nowadays, with fewer youngsters becoming involved in sports and negative attitudes towards young players at many clubs there is a lack of young club players emerging.

"Stepping Stone Club"
Aimed at the beginner to intermediate players, the stepping stone club is an introduction to club play. Ideal for improving players who wish to develop their game with others of similar ability. When confident you can move onto the full club to further develop your game, for the exceptional players there is the chance to represent the club in one of the many teams entered into the South Staffs and Worcester League.

Tiki Club and Team
The main club where you will find the intermediate to advance players, these sessions provide competitive match practice as well as being host to league matches.
